Project Update: April 2006

The design of website entitled “Wetland FRIENDS” has been finished. It has been launched on its own domain name http://www.wetlandfriends.org

We have been including some introductory kits about wetlands, forests, birds etc in this website. The authentic data on birds, wetlands, forests etc. has been extracted from different sources and included in the webpage. We have included some publications for free download access. We are trying to increase the volunteer members of “Wetland FRIENDS” to create interest on birds and wetlands conservation. The website has not gained its full shape; we will continuously update the site with more information about birds and wetlands. So please bear with us.

An online discussion forum entitled “Wetland for Life: Friends of Wetland” has been launched. It can be accessed from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wetland which can also be visited from the homepage of the project website http://www.wetlandfriends.org .
