The Project aims to develop a long-term facility to do aforestation of native tree species like Salvadora persica, salvadora oleoides, Zizyphus, Acacia nilotica, Acacia leucophloea, Prosopis cineraria, Tecomella undulata. A nursery to raise these plants and to provide water (rainwater harvest tank) are planned under the project. A seed bank for in situ germination of seeds for sowing them in nature is planned.

Involvement of local Schools (this is third year of the work with RSG funds) is integral part of the project. Nature education camps and wareness related program for the local Schools is given emphasis. Our belief is that working for at least five years for a set of Schools will bring changes in the form of greenry in the School and villages, and people’s thinking toward nature will surely be positive. We have seen the changes in our two years work.
