The project aim to improve the conservation status of two protected areas in Iasi county Romania.

The main objective is to restore the flood regime of the Teiva-Visina oxbow.

Our organisation is the official custodian of this protected area. With the support of the local community we plan to open some of the old drainage canals in order to restore the spring temporary floods of the area.

The project will continue also to involve the local communities into the educational work and partnership in order to increase the awareness on natural values and biodiversity of the area.
