Appreciative Step of Nepal Government

Recently, Nepal Government announced that it has increased amount of compensation for damage caused by wildlife. This compensation will be provided if case is happened outside the protected areas (Buffer Zone. It is an appreciative step to change poor / people’s attitude towards conservation. It is also a happy moment to all who are directly or indirectly involving conservation work and others also.

Because of low compensation for damage caused by wildlife, local (Buffer Zone) people were paying low attention towards wildlife conservation. So that it can be hoped that this announcement will surely help to strengthen conservation action in days to come.
