Conservation of Microchiropteran Bats and their Habitat through Research and Community Participation

This year long project investigates breeding biology and habitat preferences shown by microchiropteran bats in and around Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat. Capacity building of individuals by providing opportunities to students will be the core focus of this project. Community-based bat conservation programme for local populace and tourists and educational activities are also proposed herein.
