The primary goal of this project is to support in situ conservation efforts for the Philippine Crocodile in the Northern Sierra Madre area of north-east Luzon, Philippines.

This is the only viable population of this species remaining in the wild and, hence, is of great importance. The funds being sought would cover the development and distribution of colour posters in the area, featuring the crocodile. The text, in the local dialect, would specifically target the local area, thereby enhancing onground protection that has already been initiated with the local community.

The funds would also support preparation and distribution of reports/outcomes arising from a workshop to develop a long-term community conservation strategy for the Philippine Crocodile in the Northern Sierra Madre, as well as attendance of local participants at the workshop.
